For the iPhone, things are a little different. In contrast to the more expensive 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, which cost more, Apple returned its 2021-era A15 Bionic chip for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. The iPhone 14 comes in all models with 6GB of RAM.
The Galaxy S23 hasn’t yet been able to undergo our benchmark tests, but we did compare the A16 in the iPhone 14 to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in a reference phone. The A16 chip in the iPhone 14 Pro Max scored 1,874 on the single-core test and 5,445 on the multi-core test in the GeekBench 5 test. The 8 Gen 2 scored 1,489 and 5,178 in contrast.
